Elevista Online Ups

Input Power Conditioning

The UPS takes in AC power from the main supply. The input power is converted into DC power through rectification. SCRs are often used in this stage.

Inverter Stage

The DC power is then converted back to AC power using the inverter stage. The inverter, typically controlled by IGBTs, ensures that the output AC power is of high quality, with a pure sine waveform, regardless of the state of the input power.

Output Regulation

The UPS continuously monitors the output power and adjusts the inverter stage as necessary to maintain a stable output voltage and frequency, providing seamless power transfer to connected equipment.

Monitoring and Management

Elevista online UPS systems come with sophisticated monitoring and management capabilities, allowing users to remotely monitor the UPS status, configure settings, and receive alerts in case of any issues.

Battery Charging

If the UPS detects that the mains power is within acceptable parameters, it uses this power to charge the battery bank. This ensures that the battery is always ready to provide backup power in case of an outage.

Isolation Transformer

The inbuilt isolated transformer provides electrical isolation between the input and output sides of the UPS. This isolation helps protect connected equipment from electrical noise, spikes, and other disturbances present in the utility power.

Backup Power Supply

In the event of a mains power failure or disturbance, the UPS runs on the battery power without any changeover, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply to the connected equipment.
